The most common question I get in this business is what is a sales funnel and how is it different from a website. It a valid question to be asked and comes down to these two things.
A website gives a visitor or potential customer hundreds of choices.
A sales funnel gives your visitors or potential customer one direction.
I explain this in this video here…
Basically what this means is when a person visits a website they have many options. They have a choice to view everything on the home page or to click items on your top menu and explore around. While a sales funnel has one direction. It will either be collecting contact information in exchange for something of free or being on an exclusive list or selling a product or service you are offering.
This allows you to more target you prospects when running advertising campaigns to create the best ads for the right people and make it more personable.
If you want to start building funnels for your business you don’t need a programmer or a designer. ClickFunnels makes this super simple for anyone to setup a full blown sales funnel in under a hour. You can lock in the best offer and trial by clicking the button below.

Hi Sean, thanks for the article. I absolutely agree. Today there is quite a lot of buzz around sales funnels and I believe the reason is that sales funnels work. Of course, it doesn’t mean that every business needs a complicated sales funnel. However, it can really be extremely useful when targeting your audience with any sort of ads. Then you can be sure your prospects are not messing around on your website. They are on the required page, moving step by step to make a purchase.
Again, thank’s a lot for this post!
